The present study attempts to identify the causes and elements of trafficking among children and youth engaged in prostitution in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. It discusses how the children get involved in child prostitution and the types of children who are most commonly victims. The study also tries to identify how and why the trafficking is so prevalent as well as what is being done in Nepal to raise awareness.
